Roshnee Vázquez
Dr. Roshnee Vázquez is a psychologist with expertise in perinatal mental health, mood disorders, women’s health, emotion regulation, recovery and sobriety, and LGBTQ+ mental health. She has specialized training in culturally responsive psychotherapy and is committed to providing affirming, individualized care that honors each client’s unique cultural background, identities, and lived experiences.
Dr. Vázquez earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The College of New Jersey and her doctoral degree in psychology from Columbia University. She completed her predoctoral internship at St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital Center and a postdoctoral fellowship in university mental health at Montclair State University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Vázquez worked in major New York City hospital systems, where she provided psychotherapy, conducted comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments, developed individualized treatment plans, and supervised master’s- and doctoral-level trainees. She currently maintains a private telehealth practice serving adults. Dr. Vázquez is licensed to provide psychological services in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and is authorized to provide telehealth services to patients located in Florida.
