Anthony Ballas is an adjunct and member-organizer of the Northern Federation of Educational Employees (Local #4935) who currently teaches philosophy and social sciences at NNMC. He has written considerably on the subject of the national adjunct labor crisis, exposing, among other things, right-wing trends in higher ed, and served as lead negotiator in the spring-summer 2024 collective bargaining win.
